I am required to maintain exceptional customer service when working when waiting tables and working behind the bar. To work as a team with others in the same role, where communication and trust within the team is necessary to prevent mistakes. I listen to instructions from my supervisor and managers on each shift which may place me in different situations can including making desserts, taking table orders and taking bookings. Efficiently respond to all needs of the customer and any issues that my arise. My role requires both the preparation beforehand, to ensure that we are fully equipped to carry out our duties, and clean up and restocking after each shift. Handling money is a key component of the role, when receiving, giving accurate change and authenticating transaction amounts.

Fitness Instructor/Assistant

Whilst at university I volunteered at the McClelland Centre to gain experience in the fitness industry. The role entailed assisting personal trainers during group and individual sessions, performing routine tasks around the gym, assisting with the filing and organisation of paperwork and other associated tasks. Within the role I was required to communicate with a variety of clients, I was often required to provide leadership to groups of individuals. This also included planning sessions and organising equipment for individual clients and group activities.

Additional Information

Achievement/Interests

I have always participated in lots of extra-curricular activities both throughout my school and university life. At university I became interested in personal training, I gained my Level 2 Fitness Instructor (REPs) and Level 3 Personal Training (REPs) qualification.


At school I began playing volleyball in PE and enjoyed it so much I took part in volleyball out of lesson time and began playing for my local club. Having played for my local club since then, volleyball became a real passion of mine, so when I started university I joined the volleyball club. I went on to captain the ladies first team; this took a lot of dedication, commitment and time management. In total, I have played volleyball for 10 years, gaining my 1st4sport Level 1 award in Coaching Volleyball (QCF) and becoming a Grade IV Volleyball England Referee.


Outside of sport, I have a passion for reading, recently reading titles including The Help, Frankstein and The Picture of Dorian Gray. I also have gained an interest into learning skills for computer software development and often study this in my free time.
